This is loosely based on the beginnings of a relationship. It was a long distance one, with about a 6 hour drive in between us, so there was a lot of talking on the phone and trying to figure out how to work it out and decide on one city to be in. I never did actually carve initials in a tree; but I like the idea of doing it and having a location to come back and visit for as long as the tree stands...
