At the time I wrote this I was in a relationship, but for a while was infatuated with another woman. Sometimes it drove me crazy and writing this song helped me to deal with it. Ask most people about infatuation and they will tell you it's a normal and healthy human occurrence; ask your significant other and she may not be so happy about it! The 2 women involved here were acquaintances, but neither knew of these thoughts in my head. I chose to "not be a fool" and to "keep things cool" by letting this infatuation go without acting upon it. Writing this song was the first step to confront the whole situation.
