about

I had this idea to do a canon, or "round", where you repeat something over and over but just a few beats behind the last one and let it build into a bunch of layers. I liked the lyric for the song and thought it would be a fun way to end the album. We added some carefree extra weird noise on analog synth to illustrate the happy release we felt to be done recording!

lyrics

It's easy to say goodnight
When birds are singing lullabies
Goodnight
